This was a quickie I threw together for a design that Lance Ikegawa asked me to make for one of his fabulous Fursuits. Last I heard from him, the head is about 3/4ths finished. Characters © Kylen Christine Miles
This picture isn't all that great but it still makes me smile. This was a portrait I did of my very first two pet rats, Michelle, a Pink Rex, and Hushpad, a blazed Fancy. Both have passed on- lives cut short by Myco disease. I loved them both dearly, especially Michelle. Characters © Kylen Christine Miles
Sandra did a BEAUTIFUL pic of Alethia for me, and I did this as a return thank you. Characters © Sandra Gaeremynck
The famous if slightly edited version of this pic. Sold at auction. I hated to give it up, as the original I have grown quite attached to. But when you need money... :P Characters © Kylen Christine Miles
A picture done when I was in a depressive/contemplative period my freshman year of college. The name of this piece is "Shadow Boxing", which is basically a piece depicting inner self-destruction. Beth's characters always make for great, power pieces. Characters © Beth Schultz
My signature picture. It actually turned out better than I hoped, and it receives quite a lot of acclaim at my Elfwood gallery. When I first started going online, I never went by my real name but the psuedonym, Silabub, and it eventually became my staple. Characters © T.S. Eliot and Andrew Lloyd Webber
Another sold at auction a couple of years back. There are things I hate this picture and things I love about it. Talk about traumatic. I think I mostly like the movement of the two dogs in the foreground. Characters © Kylen Christine Miles
This drawing and the lyrics were based on one of my favorite songs, the haunting "Crown of Thorns" by Erasure. I debated whether to post this picture up in here- as it is horribly old, amateur, and I barely had a grasp on Photoshop back then. Perhaps it's the history behind the picture. It is personally one of my father's favorites- and he has a color print of it specially framed with a real dry rose twined around it. Regardless, just viewing this pic while listening to the song does it for me. For your interest, I have uploaded an MP3 of it here for you. Characters © Kylen Christine Miles
I love this picture. I drew it for one of my best friends, Trishana Prater, who is an Animation Minor at my university. She has an amazing, very beautiful style of art- and her character Trish Kitty is one of my absolute favorites. You can find a link to Trishana's art on my Links page. Characters © Trishana Prater
For some reason titled "Ripping Yarns". Yes, it's an angsty pic, so stick it in your ear. Mostly this picture was done as an experiment. There is no pencil sketch underneath it. The entire picture was sketched out first in ink, so I couldn't erase mistakes. I like how it turned out. Characters © Kylen Christine Miles
This pic looks beautiful in Real Life- the scan doesn't do it justice. The colored pencils turned out remarkably well for being drawn on copy paper :P I really like it, but alas, I needed cash. So it sold at auction. Characters © Kylen Christine Miles
I am working on a "Demolition Dogs" portfolio that is so large, it most likely won't be coming out for sale until next year. I did 3 different Photoshop versions of this particular picture until finally deciding on this one. I think she looks cute :) I'm rather happy with how it turned out. This picture took me quite a few days to finally finish. The sketching part came about pretty quickly, but coloring took a handful of days- mostly because I worked on so many layers of marker and pencil that I would begin to get tired and sloppy. So whenever I felt the urge to get sloppy, I would put it down and leave it to work on later so that I would be forced to take my time and do a good job. Sold at auction. This picture had been sitting in my art folder for well over a year, half-finished. For some reason, I was always uninterested in finishing it. Recently I dragged it out and finished coloring it. Sold at auction. Characters © Kylen Christine Miles
A tiny picture I did on a whim before CF12. I had forgotten all about it for awhile until while organizing binders and notebooks at my apartment, it fell out of one of them. Sold at auction. Characters © Kylen Christine Miles
