Llama in the Living Room

Katie often yearned
That her toy llama was real
And then one day she learned
Someone had granted her appeal
Her llama stood there grazing
In the living room
She stood staring and gazing
As her new joy turned to gloom
Where will I put it?  What will I do?
In the garage?  The back yard?
I haven't got a clue
It's cute, but it's shedding
And its spit smells kind of bad
She soon started dreading
What she'd tell mom and dad
Her eyes surveyed the mess
As the llama destroyed the floor
And much to her distress
The llama wouldn't fit through the door
Then a car pulled in the driveway
She knew judgment time was here
The couch was wrecked to her dismay
And she began to tremble in fear
In helplessness she began to scream
Then her eyes opened; it was only a dream!
