Mele

I know you are pointing and laughing ;) Well, I was working on a BDAY piccie for Mele at my forums, and got tired after the second day of coloring it and said "to hell with the background". At first I was just going to slap some sayppy beach photo in the background, but I decided to be a little more creative and make my own background, stylized out purposely to look like crap ;) eh... So yay!! Yay me for choosing crap over photos!!! Blarg- I woulda taken more time if I wasn't so without patience lately and actually drawn up a decent background but, eh, oh well.

Kizzy

This character is from a series of installments from a fanfiction I wrote back in 1996 and never posted online because I thought people wouldn't like it. Chaser has been encouraging me- and just maybe I might post it up- it explains all this. This picture is of Hunter and Alethia's second child, Kizzy. She is named so because their first child was killed by Parvo, and Kizzy is Mandinkan for "stay put"- literally, "the one who stays". Here she is pictured at age 19, ready to begin life as a Road Rover. The story is really quite long and very engaging- I will think about posting it online..

Ribbonracer and Dusty

The Blue Merle Australian Shepherd, Ribs, courts a very bashful Red and Black Australian Shepherd, Dusty. I spent about 12 hours coloring this one- mostly because I kept getting interupted- plus, I couldn't tear myself away from the TV. I mean, when "The Simpsons", "Drew Carey", and "Married with Children" are on back to back- there is no hope for folks like me- I am glued. Anywise, I just got this idea because both DJ and I have Australian Shepherd characters who happen to be single...yeah. Anywise, I think it turned out cute. Do you know how hard it is to come up with a color scheme for Blue Merle dogs? Oy! >_<
