Have you ever wanted more traffic for your website? Have you ever wished there was a way you could know when and where "Road Rovers" websites have been updated? Well, now there is a way that you can! Through the "Road Rovers Update Newsletter", you can not only find out when OTHER people are updating, but you can let everyone know you've got new stuff at your "Road Rovers" site too! The newsletter will attempt to help increase traffic to all participant's sites and let people know where, when, and what has been updated- that way they can stay up to date when their favorite websites have been updated. It's fun and it's easy! So go ahead and sign up now- just make sure you read the rules first!!

It is very important that you read these rules in order to participate. These rules are not meant to restrain you or keep interaction at a low level, but to ensure that the Newsletter can circulate properly and without confusion. So MAKE SURE you read the rules first.

1) You don't have to have an RR-related website to subscribe and read what has been updated, but you must have one to send updates.

2) To send updates into the Newsletter to let members know you have updated, you MUST be a registered subscriber and member of the Newsletter.

3) Every week ( the deadline will ALWAYS be Friday by 4 pm, Pacific Time- no late exceptions ) participants who have updated their websites within that week can send me an email to a special address, detailing when they updated, exactly what they updated, and their site url. Every Friday at 4 pm Pacific, I will gather up that week's submissions and put them in the newsletter, which will then be sent out that evening to all of the newsletters' members. Only people who sign up for the newsletter will be allowed to send in updates to be distributed.

4) If you update your website more than once before Friday, you are allowed to send in as many reports of updates until the deadline that Friday. ALL will be included.

5) All update submissions MUST include the following: Your RR site name, it's url, the date you updated it, and a description of what you updated and where on the site.

6) Make sure these are LEGITIMATE updates to your RR site! No one cares if you just "fixed the spelling" errors. We wanna know when you have added new material, or just a new picture of story or page. Here is a good example of an "update submission":

I added a few new pictures to the art gallery and put up a new story by John Smith in the Fan Fiction section and put a few new Rover links on the links page. I might finish building the new "About Me" page later this week.

7) Be sure that the same email address you use to subscribe to the Newsletter is the same one you send your update submissions from to keep the confusion down and the circulation time up.

8) Mail all update submissions to: rr_news@hotmail.com Remember, you must be a subscribing member to the newsletter first in order to send updates in.
