Setting: The near Future.
The planet Earth enjoyed it's relative seclusion from the universe, their Human and Non-Human (Cano,Felo-Sapien,Mutant) living out their lives in their own manner, weither it be for good or evil. That all changed when a gigantic alien spacecraft plumetted to into Earth Space and crashlanded on a small island. That is when the populace changed. The alien spacecraft - dubbed the Space Defense Fortress 1, or SDF-1 - yielded advanced technology that the world had only dreamed of. Today, that technology is being used to fight for the Terrans very survival against an alien race with the same technology, and made up of nothing but warriors.

(Several fighters made from 20th Century jets fly through the sky, dogfighting against advanced alien Intercepters. The alien Intercepters launch several salvos of missiles, destroying several of the Terran made ships. Suddenly missiles and tracers impact with the Intercepters destroying them. A wing of three Fighters loop around and continue on. These fighters are white with a stripe of yellow and black, on the back are pictures of a skull and crossbones, the insignia of Skull Squadron. The fighters loop around and begin fighting the Intercepters once again)

Lt. Shadow [Voice Over, Calm]: This is Skull Leader to Skull Squadron, you heard the Commander. Keep those Intercepters away from the SDF-1. We've gotta give them enough time to get airborn.
