As for using other people's characters, I agree mostly. Here's the usual character setup for most RPs I've done:

Personal characters: Private, only usable with permission from their creator. Alejandro would be one of these.

Universal characters: Usable freely, as long as your use of the character does not conflict with any storyline that the character is involved in. To all appearances, this would be the original Rovers team, most enemies, and whatever random recruit base we won't be using very much.

"Is this a private flight or can anyone board?" Said Angel jokingly

Taya just scowled Angel as he sat down next to her, and continued to look out the window. Angel then put in his wireless earpiece and reported to Alejandro.

"Alejandro, this is Angel do you copy?"

"loud and clear Angel, how am I on your end?" Said Alejandro.

"Five by five Alejandro, EDT five minuets. Flight check list complete?" Said Angel.

"Your all set. Ready when you guys are." Said Alejandro.

Angel then looked to Taya and said, "lets do this." Taya got up and walked over to the ships door and yelled, "Rovers assemble, were moving out."

Angel then opened his pack and began assembling his weapons. Thinking to himself this is it, the mission.

Panzer was at a loss knowing the mission was soon to begin he merely began to take up a few items of his personal preference. He knew the mission wasn't to be a S&D [Search and destroy] but was most likely to be a raid of a facility at best or a simple Recon at the least. So he would grab what appeared to be a very specially modified "Mini" Gun that had rotating barrels that were far larger then normal and a minature rocket launcher mounted beneath it a a secondary fire weapon. "Nice..fires high velocity gas propelled Tazer shells and has a Tennis ball launcher." He flicked a switch at the weapon side and watched as a strong red laser was soon marking a wall. "And optional Laser sight." He'd say pointing the unloaded weapon at the nearest rover and and pulling the trigger. 'Click'

"Alright." He settled on his weapon and proped it on his shoulder as if it was a rifle. To most this hundred and twelve pound weapon would be impossible to wield without help or a turret prop. He then grabbed a large Metal ammo-case filled with Tear gas and High explosive tennis balls along with a few regular ones. What?...it's a long flight and he needs something to gnaw on.

"Expecting trouble?" Said Taya.

"Nope, I'm bringing it." Said Angel cocking the slides on his guns forward.

"I hear Parvo likes to play rough, well so do I." Said Angel with a smile.

Angel holstered the two weapons to his thighs and took out his .50cal. sniper rifle and began adjusting the scope.
The whining of the ships engines could be heard as the rest of the Rovers boarded the ship.

"Strap your self's in everybody, were going to Canada." Said Hunter

"Ready for take off." Said Colleen

"Your all clear, good luck and godspeed." Said Alejandro.

"Roger that and thanks." Said Colleen.

The ship powered down the runway until they were airborne. When they were finally in the air, Angel looked out the window at the land and it's rolling hills. He then looked back at his teammates. Thinking to himself about the mission. Would he be successful in his duties or fail and let one of his teammates fall.

"I'll worry about that when the time comes." He thought to himself.

For now all Angel could do is sit and wait, as their ship headed for Northern Canada.

Sorry, I've been working on my own personal stories, my senior year of high school just started, and I've really not been paying much attention to places like this. I also need people to move into position before my character actually does anything more, unless you want me to completely hijack this role play.
