I know CD and some of you other writers have written stories about the Space Rovers but I'm curious, what names would you use for the original Space Rover characters (those that appeared in "Take Me To Your Leader") if you put them in a story? We knew the Captain's name was Persia sofor me I gave them names of non-existant countries. I named the gray dog at the helm Rhodesia, the female next to him is Siam and the dog back at the science station is Tibet. But the big question is: What would you name their group other than that awful name "The Space Rovers?" I'd go with Millennium Paladins myself. So what is your ideas?------------------ Bear Da Strayer "Crash Bandicoot, cool!" IP: 166.90.68.178 |

Bear, I DID name the other Space Rovers in that very short scene from "Take Me To Your Leader"The cocker spaniel and greyhound at the helm console I named "Saundra" and "Boomer" respectively. The grayish Scottish Terrier who turns towards them I named "Alexander". In my Space Rover 'pilot' episode "Canius Project", Persia returns to the Space Rovers after a year's absence and reunites with Saundra, Boomer and Alexander (Alex is like a father to her, and she's always calling him 'old man' on the bridge) and then she meets the crew of her new ship, the Canius Minor. One hundred plus episodes later, the Space Rovers are still in action, but Boomer later marries Saundra and has been promoted to Captain and they both are now aboard the Challenger, a new SR vessel. Alexander has been Persia's First Mate from the beginning, but she fell in love with and married Grunt, the pit bull ex-cano mutant who is her Chief of Security, It's a LONG story, but if you will read my stories, it'll all make sense. ------------------ Floating through cyberspace The Computer Dinosaur http://spacerovers.tripod.com IP: 65.117.177.85 |

Ha! But you still haven't come up with a good name for them instead of Space Rovers! :PI tried writing one episode where the Road Rovers mysteriously disappeared and the Master sends Persia and her crew to find them. She goes and visits all the Rover villians in order to find clues. In the process you learn about the Rovers and their adventures (from the original show) It was suppose to be a Get To Know The Road Rovers thing for new and possible fans for the show but when they stopped showing Road Rovers on Cartoon Network I lost interest and shelved the project. I also introduced the Time Transporter as a teleporter. It has been modified so you can't go forward or back in time (so Parvo can't go back to destroy the Rovers) and I gave it limited distance (plot device). Keep on writing dude!

I'm not real big on space stuff. But i guess you can call it "RSS" (Rover Space Station), "DS" (Dog Ship), or you can just give it some weird number/letter code like #6701ZA. Sorry if that didn't help you any. Again i'm not real big on space stuff. IP: 66.157.54.38 |

CD, Duke, and Catman and I have all settled on the prefix 'SRS' for all the space rover ships, names of ships so far in service are the Canus Minor, Galatea and Challenger with the SRS Endeavor being constructed, and Kristen's new series, onboard Station Cerberus

In my Space Rover--Cerberus series the space station is called SRSS-Cerberus. SRSS = Space Rover Space Station
