Welp I've cleaned it up a bit, figured out to to rid the story of a certain scene, even though I'm not at that point in writing it yet. Uh, The few things on this page are mine, made me me and all. The story its self is rated PG-13 for graphic violence, let me know if I should up the rating. Nothing really bad, just as graphic as it needs to be for the story.

"No, Mom and Dad had left me at home." She said softly and slowly as realization crept over her face replacing the shock. Her hands clasped his jacket and her fingers tightened, crumpling the fabric between them as more tears fell. "They knew..." She barely whispered, shock taking over again. "They knew they were going to die; that's why they left me...that's why..." Her voice faltered and was quickly drowned out by her tears. She felt her throat tighten and cried. That was all she could do. He just stood there and held her, letting her cry for a while. Suddenly his head jerked up and his eyes registered alarm.
